I.O.O.F (Independent Oder of Odd Fellows) first woman of two women accepted as an Odd Fellow (formerly women could be only serve as ‘Rebekahs’).  Monday Magazine (now closed) got wind of it and one of my favourite journalists, Jason Youmans, was given the scoop.
