Essay in vain? Backstory is, I worked on an  MOE BC GOV intelligence analyst assessment – it was a required-essay for this posting competition requirement.

Having completed and submitted it, the posting got cancelled. Rather annoying.

It wasn’t totally in vain. Apprently, I’m told WWF was given a copy thanks to Dr. Keith Martin, former Canadian Liberal MP taking an interest in the subject matter and sharing it with them.

Here is my essay, The job before us: on the subject of the underground trade of illegal-exotics, dated November 30, 2011.

Years later, I shared my trafficking-in-exotics essay with the editors of an animal welfare magazine based in France; (Sept 30, 2022) after they contacted me on Twitter with a copy of their mag).
